In 2017, SCOPE ASIA with its respected partners, Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), an international cooperation enterprise for sustainable development owned by the Federal Republic of Germany, and GFA Consulting Group, a leading European consulting firms active in the development cooperation sector, held a training for 13 CEOPS Directors and other relevant directors from SEPFOPE. The objective of the training is to create leaders with a clear an inspiring visions in the future for the organisation or company as well as for the employees. |

Finding the best possible people who can fit within the culture and contribute to an organization is a challenge that the recruiter should face. Every recruitment and selection process needs to be adjusted depends on the sector of the company, job description, diversity of location, etc. SCOPE ASIA in cooperation with GIZ (Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit), an international cooperation enterprise for sustainable development owned by the Federal Republic of Germany, has organized a training and workshop for SEJT, in Timor Leste. The objective of this training is to foster and establish transparent, fair, and equitable selection processes within SEJT to recruit and employ young people. |
Within the framework of bilateral Development Cooperation between Timor-Leste and the Federal Republic of Germany, Employability and Income Generating Opportunities for Marginalized People (ENDIGO) is to promote skill and employability development services for the country’s young people. The project improves and initiates qualification opportunities that empower young people, specifically girls and young women, in rural areas to become good Employees, Employers and Entrepreneurs (3E’s). |
The project aims at creating an environment conducive to young women and men to recognize and make use of income generating and employment opportunities, specifically in agriculture and along agricultural value chains. The project also focuses on strengthening institutional capacities of key government, civil society and private sector actors for employments and qualification related services. The overall goal of the project is: Young People from disadvantaged rural areas in Timor-Leste are enabled to make use of opportunities for income and employment. |

Another highly relevant partner in the region is the congregation of Don Bosco, providing a number of schools in Timor Leste , The training center provides a multi-year training for young dynamic pupils. The High School is a vital facility due to its role in training tradesmen and technicians who will assist with the restoration and development of the country. There are four areas of specialization: carpentry, basic engineering, electricity and electronics. Udayana University supports students from Timor Leste as well. |
