Your "health" is the focus

In recent weeks, our company Scope Asia International has massively expanded its product range, placing the protection of people first by offering products such as face masks, ventilators and protective clothing. It has come to our attention that the measures introduced to combat Covid 19 are counterproductive when it comes to maintaining our health. These measures clearly counteract a healthy lifestyle. Especially the guidelines in times of Corona prevent a "healthy lifestyle" in harmony with ourselves and nature. Covid 19 has taken us far from practicing a healthy lifestyle. 

It is paradoxical that we are constantly being told by experts to maintain our health, but in reality our health has been massively damaged in recent weeks. The existing curfew for weeks, lack of social contacts, no exercise, no activities and in many cases people are blocked by fear and stress. All these measures used prevent a healthy lifestyle and actively weaken our immune system every day. It is important to us to point out that it is now up to you to have a lasting effect on your health.

What can we now implement even in times of corona? 
Do you feel in the same way, you would like to stay healthy and fit as long as possible. The most important factors how you can influence this are nutrition, clean water, exercise, relaxation and sleep, renunciation of stimulants and a positive attitude towards life.

​1. Proper nutrition

Hardly anything is more important for maintaining health than a healthy diet. A healthy diet makes all the difference:
  • at least three portions of fruit and vegetables a day, preferably raw, in all colours and varieties
  • Fish once or twice a week
  • many vegetable oils and carbohydrates, including plenty of legumes
  • little meat and fat, also pay attention to hidden fats in for example sausage and finished products. Careful in finished products is sugar and shelf life substances that are not conducive to a healthy life.
  • Use salt and sugar sparingly
  • Cook food only as briefly as necessary and with little water and fat
This not only maintains our vital functions, but also strengthens the immune system.

​2. Drink enough

Clean and clear drinking water is a prerequisite. If you do not have the opportunity to cleanse yourself with clean water and drink enough, a persistent lack of water will do lasting harm to the human organism.

Since water is not only an important part of the body cells but also the main component of the blood, the blood cannot flow properly if we drink too little. If you drink contaminated water, you will cause lasting damage to your body. The water should be free of bacteria and viruses.

If you drink too little, the whole body is less well supplied, brain performance and concentration ability decrease. Drink at least two litres of fluid a day.

​3. Regular exercise

Regular endurance sports are good for body and soul and the best way to get the body in shape and the organism in full swing. Sport helps to strengthen the body's defences, reduce stress symptoms and prevent cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, overweight and osteoporosis. Even brain performance in old age is positively influenced.

Any kind of physical exercise contributes to your well-being: The minimum to prevent illness is half an hour of light exercise five to seven times a week. ​

​4. Plenty of fresh air and light

Oxygen awakens the spirits and mobilizes the immune system. Go out into the fresh air every day. Another positive effect of being outside: We get more light, which also improves our mood. During daylight the nerve messenger serotonin is released, which brightens our mood. Light is also important for the production of vitamin D - indispensable for strong bones.

​5. Relaxation for balance

​Stress, hectic rush and mental strain wear down resistance; disturbances in the balance between tension and relaxation can lead to serious mental and physical illnesses. So at the latest when stress and rush take over, it is time to shift down a gear.

Relaxation techniques such as autogenic training, progressive muscle relaxation or yoga can help to regain balance and serenity.

​6. Enough and regular sleep
​Sleep is a basic need that we must satisfy just as regularly as food and drink. It is an indispensable basis of life and the prerequisite for development, well-being and health. 
During sleep, the metabolism is shifted down a gear, while the repair mechanisms work at full speed.
The immune system, digestion, cardiovascular system, nervous system and brain need sleep to regenerate. Recent studies show, for example, that people who regularly sleep too little have a much higher risk of a heart attack.

7. Brisk brain jogging

​Just like our muscles, the brain wants to be busy - for a lifetime. If the gray cells are not kept busy, they start to break down. Conversely, the brain can be trained like a muscle. To stay mentally fit, the grey cells need daily training. 

​8. Health risk - stimulants

Smoking is harmful to your health, and every cigarette! However, it is never too late to quit smoking, even after years of nicotine addiction, it benefits your health. 
Moderate alcohol consumption should be enjoyed in moderation, because there is no such thing as risk-free alcohol consumption.

​9. Healthy relationships

​Whether you like it or not, everyone is involved in a network of relationships. The success of interpersonal relationships is an important factor for the quality of life, mental and physical health. Living and fulfilling relationships - these begin with a healthy relationship to oneself and to life.
It is now clear that all of these points have been neglected in recent weeks. We should be aware that a strengthened immune system can react completely differently to a virus than a weakened one. 
Therefore, you should do everything possible to strengthen your own immune system sustainably. 

​What is the task of your immune system?

To render pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, parasites or fungi harmless and to remove them from the body. to recognize and neutralize harmful substances from the environment. to fight pathological changes such as cancer cells.

The immune system has strong defences: "It is not located in a single place in the body - it consists of a network of cells, molecules, tissues and organs that work together to protect the body" The immune system is crucial in the fight against infections and diseases.

The immune system consists of many little "helpers" - cells, molecules, tissues and organs; they all play a key role in the fight against infection and disease.

So strengthen your immune system and allow yourself more time for yourself, even in corona times, and deal consciously with your diet. You will see it helps and it gives you many happy moments of small successes, because your body will thank you for it.
